Leap owns and operates modern retail stores for emerging brands. Traditional retail is transforming into something new – an important part of an omnichannel customer experience. By leveraging brands’ existing ecommerce value chains and handling all aspects of store management including real estate, sales and technology our Platform effectively automates brick and mortar retail store execution for brands. Our growing network includes stores in New York, Chicago, San Francisco and Miami. We’re actively adding brands and stores to our footprint and looking for awesome people to join our team to help shape the future of retail.
Mission for the position
As Product Manager, you'll be part of the original Leap product team. You'll help define our product management practices, showing us how you discover, prioritize, and ship new platform capabilities in close collaboration with our engineers, product managers, and other internal and external (i.e. customer) stakeholders. You know that scaling up a technology operation means being organized and focused, and helping our teams to do that too.
At Leap, you'll build a special retail experience for our customers, the adventurous and deserving people who enter our stores. You'll also build a wonderful experience for Leap brands, who trust us to take care of them and the brands they build over years. And you'll consider our employees – the hard-working, passionate people at Leap who need excellent tools to get their jobs done, in particular our front line sales associates and store managers, who rely on those tools to create exceptional customer experiences.
You'll work closely with our executives and engineers to build simple, scalable products and processes. We're technologists, and we also know that great product design centers around humans. You'll listen to our customers, you'll listen to our partners, and we'll listen to you.
The Leap Platform
In order to scale, you'll methodically design, build, and improve on the Leap platform. We need clear, stable, reproducible processes and data flows. It's worth spending our time to make internal processes robust and automated, so our teams can focus on growing and improving our business.
