Location
This is a hybrid role based in the Venice store on Abbot Kinney, with a minimum of 4 in-store days per week.
Annual Pay Range
$85,000–$95,000 base plus commission. Compensation will be determined based on the candidate's experience, skills, competencies, and qualifications.
The Role:
The Retail Success Area Manager drives store performance for Alohas through direct operational leadership of one store while providing strategic oversight for up to three additional locations. As the key link between Alohas' brand vision and in-store execution, this role ensures every store delivers an exceptional customer experience, operational excellence, and strong business results.
As a leader of leaders, you will develop high-performing Store Managers and teams, drive accountability across the market, and identify opportunities to accelerate growth. You will serve as a trusted partner to Alohas and Leap leadership, translating business objectives into action while fostering a culture that reflects the brand's values and customer promise.
Success in this role requires a balance of hands-on leadership, business acumen, and the ability to influence outcomes across multiple locations while maintaining a deep connection to the customer experience and the Alohas brand.
What You'll Do:
Drive Retail Performance: Lead business performance across a portfolio of stores, driving sales, profitability, customer experience, and operational excellence. Leverage customer insights and market trends to identify opportunities and improve key performance metrics. Partner with store leadership to address performance gaps and implement scalable solutions.
Develop High-Performing Teams: Coach, mentor, and develop Store Managers and store teams to deliver strong business results. Lead talent acquisition, onboarding, retention, and succession planning efforts. Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous development.
Strengthen Brand Partnerships: Serve as a trusted partner to brand stakeholders, providing business insights and performance recommendations. Lead regular business reviews and support growth, renewal, and retention initiatives. Ensure financial accuracy and accountability through oversight of brand billing and contractual alignment.
Influence Through Collaboration: Partner cross-functionally to support new store openings, market expansion, and strategic initiatives. Act as the voice of the field, sharing insights that shape brand, customer, and operational strategies. Communicate performance trends, opportunities, and business updates to key stakeholders.

- Consistently meet or exceed sales and operational targets within the assigned stores
- High employee retention, engagement, and a healthy hiring pipeline
- Strong Brand NPS. Brand partners renew, expand, and advocate for Leap
Position Requirements:
- Lead primarily from a designated home store while providing oversight and support to additional store locations within the region.
- Demonstrated success in multi-unit or high-volume retail leadership, with a strong ability to build and maintain relationships across internal teams, store staff, and external brand partners.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire remote, multi-store teams, driving elevated client experiences, operational excellence, and consistent business performance across markets.
- Willingness and ability to travel weekly throughout Los Angeles County to support store teams, activations, and operational priorities.
- Ability to travel out-of-state up to twice annually for training, team development, and leadership events.
- Must be 18+ years of age.
- Comfortable maintaining active floor presence while supporting stores, including standing/walking for extended periods and lifting up to 50lbs or using ladders when necessary.
