The role:

At Leap, the Growth Ops Manager will play a key role in the ongoing development and commercialization of the Growth function. Reporting to one of our two Co-founders & Co-CEOs, this individual will create, implement and support the ongoing management of key workflows, systems and analysis to empower cross functional teams while creating day to day efficiency. Successful candidates will be analytical with business acumen, and detail-driven with excellent problem-solving skills. You will be the first full-time Growth Operations person on the team and will work alongside other talented team members - serving as a key thought and execution partner to function leads including Real Estate and BD and learning what it takes to be a data-driven Growth Hacker.


This is an ideal role for a generalist with strong overall business acumen and solid teamwork, analytical and project management skills who enjoys working on cross-functional teams and projects as the company grows. The candidate will have a rock-solid background in data and sales and marketing operations, including experience extracting and manipulating data, leveraging advanced Excel (or Google Sheets) features for data analysis, and producing digestible business intelligence and actionable information. After 12-18 months, the individual in this role will have gained strong working knowledge and will have built strong rapport with colleagues across the company and, as a result, will have the opportunity for further specialization and advancement as the company grows (if desired).


Ideal location for this role is New York, working from home and/or our NYC office. 


Key responsibilities:

  • Be a subject matter expert - develop a deep knowledge of our business; Routinely present actionable recommendations based on data analysis
  • Develop mission critical processes and workflows across BD and Real Estate teams to enable for faster growth and improve day to day efficiency
  • Leverage existing systems and tools to create detailed pipeline frameworks to provide growth team and key cross functional stakeholders visibility across go to market teams 
  • Collaborate with BD team to continuously improve target customer segments and go to market strategies to increase conversion and store / fleet utilization
  • Collaborate with Real Estate team to rapidly and efficiently grow supply across Leap's key markets
  • Partner cross functionally with relevant business / product teams to create improved communication frameworks and productivity 
  • Support our Co-Founder & Co-CEO to level up productivity and drive faster growth via new and existing frameworks


Preferred experience, skills & attributes:

  • 3+ years experience in consulting, banking / private equity, venture investing and/or operational role within a high growth startup or other relevant experience
  • Strong business acumen
    • Strong ability to operate in the weeds while keeping sight of the big picture
    • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills (e.g. excel, SQL, etc.)
  • Analytics and data engineering skills are a plus
  • Eye for design / user experience is a plus
  • Strong teamwork, communication and project management skills
  • Humility, high EQ and high aptitude for learning and self-improvement
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly evolving / growth company environment
  • Able to travel domestically from time to time e.g. 1-2 times per month, for 2-3 days at a time

  • Successful execution of prioritized projects e.g. on-time / on-budget / on quality as applicable
  • Successful management of growth business operational (Growth Ops) workflows according as per defined measures
  • Successful collaboration with peers/stakeholders throughout the organization
